2. How do I get around in Berlin?

1. We recommend that you use the well-developed network of S-Bahn and U-Bahn trains, buses and trams. Information can be found here: Visitberlin/Public-transport or Allaboutberlin/Public-transport 

2. Like everywhere else, there are taxi services in Berlin:

3. Of course, in Berlin you can also call an Uber or get picked up by a driver from Bolt.

4. You can certainly consider renting a car. However, driving in Berlin can be quite an adventure, and parking fees are generally quite steep across the city. For this reasons we do not recommend renting a car.

In the meeting rooms, attendees can enjoy water and non-alcoholic drinks, which will also be available during lunch and coffee breaks.

You are welcome to use the hotel's free Wi-Fi service. A password is not required.

12. Will the trainings be recorded?

13. When will I receive the access data for the recordings?

Approx. two weeks after the event, we will provide all participants with a link to access the event's video library hosted on our cloud platform.

14. Who will make my room reservation at the conference hotel?

15. Are there alternative accommodation options to the conference hotel?

16. Is there a cloakroom?

Coats and other belongings can be stored at the conference hotel IntercityHotel Berlin Hauptbahnhof for the duration of the training courses.

17. Is there luggage storage?

On Friday, September 20, 2024, after checking out of the hotel, you can store your luggage in the conference hotel IntercityHotel Berlin Hauptbahnhof for the duration of the training.

18. Is there a dinner dress code?

We generally recommend business casual as a versatile option when choosing clothing. Dinner is served in buffet style, creating a relaxed atmosphere. It goes without saying that you can dress the way you feel comfortable.

19. How does “Visit @ Ammonit” work?

• On Friday, September 20th, 2024 morning, all interested people will be divided into 7 groups of approx. 5 participants each.
• Ammonit Bus Shuttle first group at 14:00. and second group at 14:30.
• The groups will be guided by our staff members.
• Each guide leads a group through our 7 stations.
• The groups will run staggered.
• The length of stay at the stations will be limited.

The participants must organize their own departure from Ammonit. There is no bus transfer back to the conference hotel IntercityHotel Berlin Hauptbahnhof.

For your return trip to the IntercityHotel Berlin Hauptbahnhof after “Visit @ Ammonit”, you can easily take every S-Bahn from Warschauer Straße. It's only a 10-minute walk from Ammonit. Travel Info

20. When is the "Factory Visit" scheduled?

We regret to inform you that we have had to cancel this part of the program. We appreciate your understanding.

21. Until when can I unsubscribe?

If you need to cancel your participation due to personal or professional reasons, please inform us in advance. Please contact us via email event@ammonit.com or phone +49 (0)30 600 31 88 – 0.

22. Can I also come spontaneously without registration?

Please note that participation without prior registration will not be possible due to access controls.

We ask for your understanding that we can only accept registrations until August 19, 2024, as we have to report the exact number of participants to the conference hotel and the dinner location.

23. Will my personal data be saved?

In order to prepare and carry out our event, it is necessary for us to collect and process certain participant data. Of course, we only collect and process the data that we absolutely need.

Your data involved is as follows:

• SALUTATION
• FIRST NAME
• LAST NAME
• COMPANY
• STREET
• CITY
• ZIP CODE
• COUNTRY
• PHONE NUMBER

Some of your data will be used to create the name badges and the participant list.

In accordance with the principle of data storage limitation, we delete your data no later than three years after the event.

24. Will photo and video recordings be made during the event?

We will only be taking photos during our event.

If you do not agree to your photo being taken, please inform the person taking your photo.

We take these photos to document our event and to report on it afterwards. To do this, we will publish these photos on media platforms (such as LinkedIn, but also on our own website).

We also reserve the right to use these photos to announce future events organized by us via the channels mentioned above.

25. Where and when can I get the photo and video recordings of the event?

Two weeks after the event, we will provide all participants with a link to access the event's photo and video library hosted on our cloud platform.
