Repair

Please follow these instructions:

  1. Complete the corresponding RMA Document.
    a. Enter article description(s), serial number(s), logger password(s) when required, etc.
    b. Describe in detail any defect, damage or reason for returning and the context in which the event occurred.
     
  2. Before dispatching the goods, please send the completed RMA Document to repair@ammonit.com.
     
  3. Thoroughly pack the device(s)/product(s) in a box suitable for highly sensitive measurement devices. If possible, use the original packaging.
     
  4. Include the fully completed RMA Document in the shipment to ensure short processing time.

  5. Shipment from outside the EU:
    Please create a proforma invoice with the reason for export: "To be repaired - values for customs purpose only".
    The value of the device(s) on the proforma invoice should reflect at least a 20% of the original purchase cost.
    Indicate all serial numbers.

  6. Attach the documents visibly outside on the packaging for customs authorities. If the local custom agency does not have access to the documents, the items could be refused and returned to the sender after approximately 8 days of storage without notification.
